Meet Pam Mustee

Meet Pam Mustee, Marketing and Communications Manager at Griffiss Institute (GI)!

Pam joined our team in the middle of 2023 and she’s thrilled to be at the forefront of tech marketing for the Department of Defense (DoD). This type of work is also a bit of a family tradition for her, with her grandfather’s naval service in WWII, her cousin’s career in the Army Special Forces, and her father and sister also working in the realm of the DoD. She’s proud to carry on this legacy at GI!

As summer approaches and interns start flooding our offices, Pam’s main advice is to, “network like crazy!” Our GI community is bursting with fascinating people, so don’t be shy—strike up conversations and prepare to be amazed by the stories you’ll hear.

Here at GI, we’re big on supporting our staff. Pam is inspired by how we all come together to foster personal and professional growth. Our culture thrives on innovation and learning, and when asked about her thoughts Pam said, “we care about each other’s growth and success… If you need help or want to learn more about a particular subject, all you need to do is ask.”

But it’s not all work and no play! Being at the GI means tons of exciting opportunities, from international workshops to the most exciting of employee engagement events.

Pam’s standout moment… “Winning the costume contest at our 2023 Halloween Party. I never win ANYTHING, so it was a cool moment shared with awesome coworkers,” she explained.

And when Pam’s not at GI, she’s exploring the area, especially its food scene. Café Del Buono is her top pick! But being a lover of all things paranormal, she recommends a day trip to visit the haunted Rutger Mansions — it’s a must for any spooky enthusiast!

Ready to dive into an adventure with Pam and the GI team? Let’s make this summer one to remember! It all starts here!!
