Local Entrepreneur Works to Promote Unique Water Bottle

UTICA, NY– A group of five start up businesses recently competed to win funding for their companies and a Westmoreland native took home one of the top prizes for her water bottle business.

The competition called, Commercialization Academy Demo Day was sponsored by the Griffiss Institute in Rome. The academy pairs students with technologies with the goals of developing entrepreneurial leaders and launching new technology ventures. The students had a chance to win $50,000. [keep reading]
