ROME, NY — The Griffiss Institute and the Cyber Research Institute, together, present a Dine & Development Training Series Workshop: The Disruptive Effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML): A forward look at the challenges and opportunities, on Thursday, October 24, 2019, 2:00 – 4:30 pm, at Griffiss Institute, 725 Daedalian Drive, Rome, NY.
The public is invited to an afternoon of presentations, discussion and networking, with a diverse panel of experts on the disruptive effects of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). These technologies are frequently viewed as engines of productivity and economic growth, and many warn of the highly disruptive effects on the economy and society.
We’re anticipating a stimulating afternoon of discussion on some of these challenges and opportunities, with a panel of experts from our region. This event is intended for a general audience with an interest in AI and ML.

The Dine & Development Training Series is a collaborative effort, bringing together local businesses, Air Force Research Laboratory researchers, and academia to expose and inform the Central New York business and research community on technology-driven topics of common interest, and to also promote business development by providing networking opportunities among researchers and attendees.
