Griffiss Institute Presents Quantum for International (Q4I) Workshop, Fostering Global Collaboration in Quantum Technology

Rome, NY – Griffiss Institute, a leading nonprofit talent and technology development organization at the forefront of emerging technologies, is proud to announce the 5th Annual Quantum for International (Q4I) Workshop, a technical networking event aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in the field of quantum technology. Q4I is held every year in the Mohawk Valley region of Upstate New York and at Innovare Advancement Center for the past three years, with this year’s program held in Oneida County’s recently completed SkyDome.

As the global race for quantum technology advancement unfolds, international cooperation and knowledge sharing have become crucial to harnessing its full potential. The Q4I Workshop seeks to provide a platform where researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and academics can come together to exchange ideas, explore collaborative opportunities, and accelerate the development of quantum technologies on a global scale.

The Q4I Workshop will feature a series of engaging presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions led by renowned experts in the field of quantum information science. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum sensing, and quantum algorithms. The workshop will also focus on the practical applications of quantum technology across various industries, such as healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, and energy.

“We are delighted to host the Quantum for International (Q4I) Workshop and bring together international collaborators in quantum technology,” said Heather Hage, President, and CEO at Griffiss Institute. “This workshop represents a unique opportunity to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and catalyze advancements in quantum technology that will shape the future of industries worldwide.”

“The Quantum for International (Q4I) Workshop provides a platform for global collaboration in quantum technology,” stated Dr. Michael Hayduk, Deputy Director of the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate. “We believe that by fostering knowledge exchange and networking among top minds in the field, we can accelerate the development of quantum technologies that will revolutionize industries worldwide.”

The Q4I Workshop provides a conducive environment for networking, allowing participants to connect with potential collaborators, industry leaders, and government representatives from the Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, and other agencies. Attendees have the opportunity to showcase their research findings, demonstrate their quantum technology solutions, and engage in insightful discussions that drive innovation.

The Q4I Workshop also addresses the ethical and security implications of quantum technology. Experts explore the challenges and potential risks associated with the widespread adoption of quantum technologies and discuss strategies to ensure its responsible development.

The Quantum for International (Q4I) Workshop welcomes researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and individuals interested in quantum technology to participate and explore collaborative opportunities.
